Description

The single massive stone lintels were cut up to 90 inches wide at the top and bottom of each window to allow natural light into the manufacturing warehouses, as there was no electricity in buildings in Cincinnati until around 1899. The stone was originally a grey-buff color but has developed a patina over the years; these stones now make very nice benches.
