Dolostone, once a rich chocolate brown, now adorns a captivating patina of buff brown with delicate black stripes, remnants of organic matter fossilized within. Salvaged from the storied grounds of the Cincinnati Street Railway Company/Chester Park workshops, it retains a tight grain, carrying the legacy of its origin where massive corners, some up to 19 inches thick, framed the windows of an era past.
